Experience an introduction to Hindu religion and the cultural importance of Aurora’s Balaji Temple in our community. Meet at SVS Balaji Temple at Randall & Sullivan in Aurora. Entrance is at 1145 Sullivan Road. Mr. Ranganthan Hemmige, temple volunteer guide, will provide an introduction, tour of temple itself (remove shoes), and finish with Q & A. Standing and walking involved but there is an interior elevator. Official name of the Hindu temple is Sri Venkateswara Swami (Balaji) Temple. The tour will take about 1 ½ hours. After the tour, optional food purchase of temple prepared food will be available in cafeteria. There is no fee for the tour. However, personal donations to the temple are welcome.
